"It is difficult to put into words what Tom Kress and his insights have offered me over an almost 35-year relationship with Tom and his family. Tom’s dad and my late husband were first cousins. Tom was very affected when my husband passed away in 2003. But Tom reached out to offer me a lifeline when so many in my circle of life thought I was supposed to be “relieved” that Greg no longer had to fight this cancer battle. Tom allowed me to talk about the emptiness and loneliness of this incredible loss. Tom’s family had to endure the tragic loss of a brother who committed suicide. In April of 2018, my sister made this same tragic decision. Tom and his family insisted that I come that very weekend to be with all of them, and again; Tom offered me the chance to talk, but also to hear some of the wisdom that he and his own family had garnered since losing their own brother. That meeting was a game-changer for my own journey of grief.
Tom is a truth-seeker, a human being filled with joy and dreams. He is an incredible husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, neighbor, and no one can take over a dance floor like Tom! He speaks from his heart and his pain, but offers you a way to channel your pain so that you can actually begin to heal. He has the ability to go to a level of emotional intelligence that is rare and so needed in our world. His career in coaching has exploded because he speaks the truth with great love.
