We ALL Have A POWERFUL Voice

Using our powerful voice but not loudly

Let’s use it MORE and MORE. A POWERFUL voice is not a LOUD voice. We have recently experienced folks with LOUD voices feeling like they’re powerful but instead sounding foolish. A powerful voice, in which we all possess, is a unique tool for expressing our individuality, setting our boundaries, and advocating for our own wellbeing and safety.

This voice is not merely a physical attribute, but a metaphorical representation of our ability to communicate our needs, desires, and limits. It’s crucial that we use this voice more frequently, not only for our own wellbeing but also to establish a respectable reputation.

For instance, in a professional setting, we can use our voice to assertively express our ideas and contribute to discussions, thereby demonstrating our competence and building respect among colleagues. In personal relationships, we can use our voice to communicate our boundaries clearly and respectfully, fostering mutual understanding and respect.

On a personal level, using our voice to tell others how we feel is a terrific form of self-care. Most of the time, it is not easy to do but certainly worth it to get it out, versus keeping certain unhealthy feelings pent up inside our hearts and minds. Something our society has taught us over hundreds of years.

Contributing to the greatest pandemic of our time – Mental Health Issues. Telling someone how we feel helps us move forward instead of staying stuck in doubt, fear and the hypotheticals.

If we feel uncomfortable or unsafe in any situation, we should use our voice to express these feelings and seek support or intervention. In our internet driven world, we can use our voice to share our own insightful thoughts or stand against online harassment.

By participating in community initiatives and/or social causes that we’re passionate about, we can use our voice to effect change and inspire others. The more we use this POWERFUL voice, the stronger it becomes and the more our fears and doubts dissipate.

Remember, using our voice is a form of self-care and self-respect. It’s an affirmation of our worth and values in this world. It’s an assertion of our place in the world. So let’s speak up, speak out, and let our powerful voices be heard.
